What Does this Stool Test Result Mean?

Hi Doctor, I have a 6 month old baby weights 6.8kg who has diarrhea since a week. Stool is green most of the time and he passes motion 6-7 times a day. 4 days back the pediatrician prescribed probiotic drops, however there was no change. Today the stool result came in with WBC present and the pediatrician prescribed an antibiotic (Amrizole-Benzoyle metronidazole) 1.7ml *3 times for a week. Test results: Macroscopic Appearance - yellow green soft Fat globules -+ no ova or intestinal parasite WBC 0-3/hpf Bacteria - many Stool C/S - no pathogens isolated Stool reducing subs. - absent Stool PH - 5.0 Stool OCLT BLD - negative Is it necessary to give my baby the antibiotic or there is another remedy?

WBC present means infection is present in the body.so antibiotic was prescribed.it is better tio continue antibiotic atleast for 3-5 days to get rid of loose stools.during this time esp small babies and elderly have to be taken care of not to be dehydrated.give plenty of oral fluids to the baby.
